Curtis Landscape & Irrigation is owned and operated by Jay and Tami Curtis of Safford, Arizona, along with Jay's brother Dustin.  Jay originally started this business in the Mesa area, but relocated to his hometown in 2006.  It is, in every sense of the word, a family business.  Many family members work alongside him, either managing landscaping crews or in the office.  The huge new warehouse, garden shop and nursery are built partially on land that has been in the family for generations.

The warehouse, just completed in 2007, also houses their administrative offices on the upper level.  The nursery attached to the warehouse is larger than all other nurseries in the Gila Valley combined, and is run by Joseph Severin.  Joseph is in the nursery full-time, and is almost always available to answer your questions about growing things.

The landscaping portion of the business has been very successful here in the Gila Valley.  All 4 crews are kept busy all the time, a testament to the quality of their work.  Our retail shop grew out of a desire to make extra inventory available to the public.  Since the landscaping business already needed a stock of plants, trees, rock, sprinkling systems and many other products, it only made sense to have a place where people could come and buy locally the same quality products our landscaping crews are using every day.

Jay & Tami also have a cleaning business and have several crews that work in the evenings, cleaning the offices of local area businesses.  Naturally, the commercial-grade supplies and chemicals they use in this business are available at the store as well.
